About

Each of my writing projects is carefully crafted, an original. My professional career as a writer and editor spans decades. My daily work routine often revolves around doing the following effectively.

Dig in.

Creating content that is informative, interesting, and relevant requires research. I talk with people in-person, on the phone or virtually to help lend credence to what I write. Preparing for and conducting an interview is an important skill.

Care.

Information is everywhere and it’s difficult to bust through a busy person’s barriers. When composing, if the writer doesn’t feel it, the audience won’t either. Content needs to stir something in the writer as well as those receiving it.

Be Human.

Writing about people who discover, challenge, persist, and overcome is always interesting. Places and products that inspire us to do more can be too. A story often outweighs features, persuasion and promises.

Focus.

A good writer filters through the vague and introduces an exact approach or perspective. Editing is a valued process.

Deliver.

Alas, superb project management skills save time and effort for everyone involved in a writing project. Deadlines are always respected.
